Embracing Equine Grace: A Special Edition

At Michelle Goff Law Group, we believe in giving back to our community in meaningful ways That's why we embarked on a visit to the Mills Creek Farm Retirement Home for Horses. This extraordinary sanctuary is home to retired race, military, and police horses, as well as those who have faced adversity and abandonment.

Moved by their stories, we've decided to invite our clients to be a part of our mission by voting on which horse our office will sponsor. The reason behind our deep connection with these majestic creatures lies in the childhood of our founder, Michelle, who spent her early years on a farm, nurturing and riding these gentle giants. Visiting the farm rekindled cherished memories for Michelle and her family, reinforcing our commitment to supporting these remarkable animals.

Established in 1984 by Peter and Mary Gregory, the Retirement Home For Horses, Inc. stands as a beacon of hope for old, abused, and abandoned horses in Alachua, North Central Florida. With 140 retired equine residents, the farm provides a haven where every horse can live out their days in serenity and care. Some may enjoy many years here, while others may leave us too soon, but all will know peace at the Retirement Home For Horses at Mill Creek Farm. New rescues join the ranks regularly, and we hold the hope that they too will relish a long, contented retirement in this sanctuary of compassion.

Meet the contenders: Buddy, Prince, and Lynn. We provided their bios along with heartwarming pictures below, allowing our clients to connect with these incredible animals and play a role in their continued well-being. With your support, we hope to make a positive impact on the lives of these deserving horses.
