Probate Cost Calculator

Here’s how probate fees are calculated in California:

1. 4% of the first $100,000

2. 3% of the next $100,000

3. 2% of the next $800,000

4. 1% of the next $9,000,000

5. 0.5% of the next $15,000,000

6. Fees for any potion of the estate valued over $25,000,000 will be determined by the court.

Each portion is deducted from the remaining value of the estate until no value remains to be processed.
