How To Work With a Virtual Attorney
My method of working with clients is much the same now as it was when I had a brick-n-mortar office. In the past, when a new client wanted to get started on estate planning, I would mail them a questionnaire to fill out and return to me. I do the same now, only it is sent to you in a secure, encrypted client portal for you to complete at your convenience. Then, in the past, you would schedule a time during business hours to meet with me. Now, we can Facetime or chat over the telephone whenever is convenient for all of us, after hours, weekends, etc. Once we decide what you need/want, I prepare the documents and you review and sign them. Really, it is that simple!
Currently I can only assist clients who are in California. Once I get my additional state licenses, I will let everyone know so that I can assist more people around the country with this very important aspect of our portfolios!
